Our spaces range from indoor function centres, ideal for wedding receptions and corporate dinners, to our outdoor rotunda, perfect for cocktail parties and intimate dinners. Each of our spaces offers a distinctive charm, unique atmosphere, and stunning views, making them the perfect backdrop for every event or special occasion.

We take pride in offering some of the most unique and versatile function spaces in Adelaide, all set within our beautiful landscaped gardens and surrounded by some of Adelaide Zoo's most incredible wildlife. Whether you're planning a corporate presentation, engagement party, or birthday celebration, each of our venues is unlike any other function space Adelaide has to offer.

OUR CATERING PACKAGES

Our catering packages are designed to offer flexibility, with plenty of menu options available for all types of events and dietary preferences. We offer breakfast and BBQ menus, conference catering packages, sit-down banquets, and cocktail receptions. As we are passionate about locally sourced produce, we prioritise using fresh, seasonal ingredients from suppliers in Adelaide and across South Australia to create well-thought-out and delicious menus.

OUR VENUE PACKAGES

The first step in planning a great function is securing a great function space. Luckily, Adelaide Zoo has plenty of them! From stunning outdoor areas surrounded by lush gardens to our versatile indoor function centres and everything in between, Adelaide Zoo boasts an impressive selection for every type of function or celebration. Our venue packages include essentials such as venue hire, catering staff, furniture, linen, crockery, cutlery, glassware speakers, and a microphone (if required). It is important to note that we do not provide decorating/styling services and that food and drink catering comes at an additional cost.

Central within the grounds of the Adelaide Zoo, this unique function room allows your guests to explore the zoo during your event and conference breaks. All of your audio and visual requirements can be catered for; just ask one of our event managers.

PLANE TREE CENTRE

The Plane Tree Centre is a spacious function room in the Adelaide Zoo area, perfect for your next conference, presentation, or cocktail party. The flat floor theatre space also comes with all essential AV equipment. The hire fee includes a drop-down screen, data projector, lectern, & microphone.

GIRAFFE COURTYARD

Enjoy cocktails and canapés in our Giraffe Courtyard, and our keepers will introduce you to our meerkat mob and giraffe. There truly is no better photo opportunity or conversation starter than getting close to these majestic animals.

Do your venue hire packages include food and beverage costs?

Our venue hire packages typically cover the cost of the space, basic furnishings, and staff for the event. Food and beverage costs are separate and may be customised according to your needs through our various catering packages.

Do you cater to specific dietary requirements?

At Quality Events, our catering team strives to accommodate various requirements and food allergies. To ensure we can cater to your needs, please provide a list of your guests/attendee's dietary requirements and menu selections at least 14 days before your event.

How long do I have the space for when I hire it?

The duration of venue hire will vary depending on the specific package and venue you choose. Typically, our hire periods are between 5.5 and 7 hours, but they can be flexible depending on your desired schedule. Please discuss your timing needs with one of our dedicated event managers to make suitable arrangements.

How do I get to Adelaide Zoo?

Zoo parking is available along Plane Tree Drive. However, to avoid driving, you can get to Adelaide Zoo via tram or bus with stops on North Terrace, Hackney Street, and East Terrace.
